I discovered in midlife that I’d been living with undiagnosed ADHD all along. That those shameful traits and struggles I always thought were faults and character defects were mainly down to my brain chemistry – and a load of coping strategies that had outgrown their usefulness.
I set about reinterpreting my life through a new lens and discovering who I really was underneath all the layers I’d built to survive with undiagnosed ADHD. I learned WHY life had felt so hard, and finally understood I wasn’t broken or even defective!
I started to heal the wounds I’d collected over the years. And I found my way to the other side of overwhelm and gradually began to flourish.
